Deverne Malcolm Jr. Green

 

Mr. Deverne Malcolm Green Jr., of Castalia, Grand Manan, NB passed away at The Grand Manan Hospital, on Tuesday July 24, 2018.

 

Born in Blacks Harbour, NB, Deverne was the son of the late Deverne Sr. and Doris (Estey) Green.

 

Deverne was a lobster fisherman, school bus driver, musician, and a member of the North Head Baptist Church.

 

Deverne is survived by his friend, Dale Doyle, Seal Cove, two daughters, Teena Green-Coffey (Lloyd Green) of Maine; Bonnie Green-Savoy (Adam Ferguson) of Saint John, NB; son Lane Green,of Guelph, Ontario; three grandchildren, Curtis Fitzsimmons, Jordan Coffey, Kali Green, three great grandchildren, Jorja and Grayson Fitzsimmons, Solan Green ; sister Judy Lewandowski (John) of Fall River, NS, two brothers, Perley Green (Bonnie) of Castalia, Hallet Green (Connie) of Browns Flat, NB, sister-in-law Wendy Green of Ontario many cousins nieces, nephews and friends.  He is predeceased by his parents, one brother, Elwin Green.

 

 There will be visitation on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Ells Funeral Home, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be from the North Head Baptist Church on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 1:30 PM.

 

Donations in Deverne’s memory could be made to the Grand Manan Hospital Foundation, or to the donor’s choice.
