Burrell Ralph Griffin

Mr. Burrell Ralph Griffin, 64, of North Head, Grand Manan, NB, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the Grand Manan Hospital after a long battle with declining health. He was surrounded by love, from people he loved. 

Burrell worked at lobster fishing, scalloping and tending weirs. Burrell and his late wife Joanne loved Dark Harbour, and spent as much time there as possible. He loved his family, the good friends he had, and his dog Jessie who was "his baby."

Burrell is predeceased by his parents, Walter and Dorothy (Lambert) Griffin; his wife Joanne (Guptill) Griffin; father and mother- in- law, Charles and Anne (Schnurr) Guptill; and his brother -in- law, Randy Greene.

Burrell is survived by his sister, Ellen Greene of North Head; brother Gatchel Griffin, of Beaver Harbour, his beloved nieces and nephews, Aaron, Andrew, Quincey, Courtenay, Gracie Mae, and Jaxen;  his step-children David Green and Jolene Sadler; two special people, long time and best friends, Fulton and Sharlene Linton.

There will a private family gathering in Burrell’s honor, at a later date. A donation in Burrell’s memory can be made to the Grand Manan Hospital Foundation, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
