Barbara Mary Ingersoll
1943-2021
Mrs. Barbara Mary (Green) Ingersoll, of Castalia, Grand Manan, NB, passed away at The Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB on Monday, March 8, 2021, with her loving family by her side. Barbara was 77.
Barbara was born in Ingalls Head, daughter of the late Donavan and Marion (Ingalls) Green. Barbara married Eugene on June 4th 1960, and they settled down in Castalia, where they started their family. Barbara loved spending time with her friends; she came up with a special name for the group of ladies "The Saggy Bottom Girls". She was a member of the Southern Cross Pythian Sisters #16, and The Grand Manan Curing Club. Barbara was also The Blue Jays #1 fan.
Barbara is survived by her Husband of 60 years, Eugene Ingersoll, of Castalia, one daughter Joanne Brown, of North Head, two sons Kenneth Ingersoll, of North Head and Jarrod Ingersoll of Grand Harbour; one grandson, Cole (Mallory) Ingalls of St. George, NB; two great great granddaughters, Lily and Saraia Ingalls; two sisters, Verna MacKenzie of Woodward’s Cove, Angela (David) Outhouse of North Head; two brothers Sutton (Karen) Green of Saint John, NB Cyril Green of North Head. Barbara will also be missed by so many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Barbara is predeceased by her parents, infant son Galen Ingersoll, daughter-in-law Laurie Murison; Brother Russell Green, sisters-in-law Peggy Green, Nancy Green and brother-in-law John MacKenzie.
There will be visitation on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm from The Community Life Church, Grand Harbour. Funeral Service will be from The Community Life Church on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 1:00pm. Masks are mandatory social distancing is required.
