Clifton Turner Ingersoll

Mr. Clifton Turner Ingersoll passed away on November 3rd, 2003 at the Grand Manan Hospital. Clifton was born and raised on Grand Manan Island, son of the late Carleton and Ethel Ingersoll, he worked for Irving Oil, labored in the fishing industry, attended the Military College in Kingston ON, and served as a crew member on the Grand Manan IV for several years. He leaves behind his two sons Karl (Elaine) Ingersoll of Fredericton, NB, and Turner (Ruth) Ingersoll of Belleville ON, his grandchildren Kristie, Erin, Karl Bradley, Tira and Tayson, one great granddaughter Taylor Sue, one brother Sherwin Ingersoll, also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Alma Tatton and Velma Losier. Clifton's loss will be keenly felt among friends and family in the days come. To those who knew him well, he will be forever remembered as a dear father, friend and a man of principle and integrity.

On November 7th, from 2-4 PM the family and friends of Clifton Turner Ingersoll will be welcoming Guests to drop in for a time of reflection in honor of his life at Ells Funeral Home.
