GRIMMER ALBERT INGERSOLL
Mr. Ingersoll often helped fishermen with their nets and Weir stakes and neighbors when they needed assistance . He also spent a great deal of time in the woods logging and cutting winter wood . He was a member of the North Head Baptist Church and served as Deacon for several years and was subsequently made an Honorary Deacon upon his retirement.
He is survived by his wife Hilda Lois (Small) Ingersoll at the Grand Manan Nursing Home, North Head, one daughter Laurel Hinsdale (Leonard), Grand Harbour, one son Morrill Ingersoll of Moncton, four sisters Thelma Benson, Saint John, Frances Foster of Grand Harbour, Rev. Myrtle Ingersoll, North Head, Marion Sellars (Gordon), of Pennfield, two grandsons Levi Bagley of Moncton, and Nathaniel Bagley of Grand Harbour as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister Seta Greenlaw, and one brother Gilbert Ingersoll.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the North Head Baptist Church, on Thursday, December 6th, 2-4 PM, 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 7th, at 1:00 PM with Rev Ron Ford assisted by Rev. David Ingersoll and Rev. Perry Ingersoll. Interment to follow in the family plot Maple Grove Cemetery, Castalia. The family requests donations to the Gideon Bible Society, or to the North Head Baptist Church Memorial Fund..
