Ina M. Zwicker

With sadness,Bernita Stairs and Shirley Banks announces the death of their beloved mother, Ina Mae Zwicker (Russell) of White Head. Wife of the late Clyne Zwicker (1994) and daughter of the late Arnold Russell and Emily (Morse) Russell. She passed away Monday morning, August 9th, at the Grand Manan Nursing Home at the age of 95. She was a devoted and loving mother, daughter and a faithful wife for 52 years. She worked in the fish sheds and clerked for John F. Morse & Sons for over twenty years. She was a member of the White Head Baptist Church, taught Sunday School and was a strong believer and a faithful follower of her Lord, and also was a member of the Atlantic Baptist Ladies Missionary Society. She is survived by her daughter Bernita Stairs (Wendell) of Fredericton, her daughter Monica(Green)Nissen (Stephen) and their children Erik and Grace of Quispamsis and her daughter Shirley Banks(Eldon) and their son Duane Banks(Marlene) and their children Kristin and Ethan of White Head. Also survived by chosen grandchildren Barrie Williams and his family of Fredericton, Lynn Fitzpatrick and her family of Quispamsis.She is predeceased by beloved brother Edgar Russell(2009) and two half brothers Carlie Doucette and Delma Doucette. The family will receive friends and relatives at the White Head Baptist Church on Wednesday, August 11th, 7:00 to 9:00 PM from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 12 at 2:30 PMt, Rev. Jim Appleby officiating. The interment will follow the service in the family plot of the White Head Community Cemetery.
