Blake George Ingersoll
INGERSOLL; BLAKE GEORGE: 89; of Seal Cove passed away after a
lengthy illness at the Grand Manan Hospital on Saturday morning July
31st, 2004. Born in Seal Cove he was the son of the late Joseph and
Sadie ( Brown ) Ingersoll. Mr. Ingersoll worked for Connor Bros.
Plant , Seal Cove, he also was a farmer, and as well started and
operated Brookside Golf Course, Seal Cove for many years, before his
retirement. He was a member of the Seal Cove Wesleyan Church, Seal
Cove. He is survived by two daughters Nancy Ingersoll, Seal Cove,
Lorna Cleghorne, St. Stephen, two sons Larry ( Audrey ) Ingersoll,
Edmonton, Alb., Verdi Ingersoll, Grand Harbour, nine Grand Children,
and ten Great Grand Children. Mr. Ingersoll was predeceased by his
wife Alta ( Wilcox ) Ingersoll 2003, one sister Norma, one son
Dennis, ( 2000 ), two brothers Neil, and Scott.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the Ells Funeral Home on Sunday, 2-4 PM, 7-9 PM, with the funeral service to be held on Monday, August 2nd, at the Seal Cove Wesleyan Church, with Rev. Ward McComskey officiating. Interment to follow in the family plot Spruce Grove Cemetery, Mark Hill, Grand Harbour, N.B.
